An ÉCONOMUSÉE® is a business that also features an interpretation area, a design workshop and a gift shop. Its mission consists in preserving and showcasing the traditional know-how and trades linked to the arts and crafts and agri-food sectors.

Québec’s ÉCONOMUSÉE® network includes about 30 businesses across 13 tourist areas, each highlighting part of the local culture. As heritage preservers very much in touch with the 21st century, these entrepreneurial artisans are constantly innovating and offering surprising handcrafted and culinary creations!

Founded in Québec, the ÉCONOMUSÉE® concept has since been implemented in seven Nordic countries and several other provinces across Canada. Together, they form the ÉCONOMUSÉE® Society Network (ESN), which aims to preserve local and foreign crafts and know-how.
