Québec is now home to more than 150 microbreweries and over 30 hop producers offering high-quality products. We’ve come a long way since the traditional alcoholic spruce beer made by the early settlers!

Brewed for the most part using classic French, Belgian and British techniques, Québec beers stand out from the majority of U.S. beers through their long fermentation.
Lager, Pilsener, porters, stouts and white beers are just a few examples of the many, many types of beers brewed in Québec. Some beers such as Don de Dieu by Unibroue, La Corriveau by the Microbrasserie Le Bilboquet, L'Hérisson-brassin special by the Microbrasserie Le Trou du diable, Kirke by the Microbrasserie Corsaire, Ceci n'est pas une Gueuze by the Microbrasserie Les Trois Mousquetaires even earned prestigious prizes at the World Beer Awards held in London in 2017.
